The financial picture is incomplete
Revenue is growing, but it is unclear which activities, customers or products actually create value.
Strategic finance advisory for growing companies
I help owners and founders build a reliable view of their financial reality, solve complex finance and data challenges, and prepare the business for growth, funding or a transaction.
When working together makes sense
Revenue is growing, but it is unclear which activities, customers or products actually create value.
Reporting is manual, arrives too late or fails to connect accounting figures with how the business actually operates.
The business needs forecasts, cash flow visibility, scenarios and control over what the next phase of growth will require.
An investor, lender or buyer will expect consistent data, a financial model and results that can be explained.
Three core solutions
Each engagement has a clear objective, defined deliverables and agreed responsibilities. The services can stand alone or build on one another.
First, understand what is really happening
A targeted review of financial and operational data, performance, profitability, cash flow, processes and risks. The outcome is not another generic report, but a clear view of root causes, priorities and next steps.
Typical deliverables
Data quality, margins and profitability, working capital, liquidity, KPIs, forecasts, controls and funding readiness.
When the business needs a system that works
Design and hands-on implementation of a financial management system that connects accounting and operational data with decision-making—from analytical structures and management reporting to forecasting and scenario planning.
Typical deliverables
Budgeting, rolling forecasts, profitability, a multi-entity view, Power Query, a data model and clear ownership.
When the business is preparing for external scrutiny
I prepare the financial materials and work with management to ensure the numbers are consistent, explainable and ready for financing, an investment round or due diligence.
Typical deliverables
Working capital, data consistency, due diligence preparation and targeted buy-side financial or accounting support where required.
Ongoing advisory
Where continuity matters, I can continue beyond the initial diagnostic or project, supporting the owner in interpreting results, assessing scenarios, preparing for financing and making significant decisions.
The scope and duration are clearly defined. This is not a substitute for day-to-day accounting or an open-ended finance function.
It may include
Not included
Bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns, routine month-end or recurring report production without strategic context.
How an engagement begins
Business context, current challenge and expected outcome.
A review of available data, risks and the realistic scope of work.
Specific deliverables, responsibilities, timelines and working sessions.
A clear recommendation, implementation support or ongoing strategic advisory—depending on what the business needs.
About me
I am a strategic finance partner with 18 years of experience spanning accounting and tax, team leadership, in-house CFO responsibilities, group reporting, finance transformation and due diligence.
I understand how numbers are produced, where risks can hide and what management can realistically learn from them. I use my accounting background to test whether the data is reliable and what it actually represents—not to sell routine accounting services.
For larger or specialist engagements, I collaborate with legal counsel, tax advisers, auditors or valuation experts. The client always knows who is accountable for the financial analysis and recommendations.
Technology in the right role
I use automation and AI to speed up data processing, variance analysis and analytical groundwork. Key calculations remain in controlled models, and every recommendation is grounded in the context of the business.
Introductory conversation
A short conversation is enough to determine whether the challenge calls for a diagnostic or a defined project.
